A Philadelphia original, still reaching for the stars.
How do you begin to tell a story that started more than seven decades ago? You begin with William McIntyre, a bold idea, and a family whose name became part of Mummers history.
From a 1949 theme suggested by Bill's wife Elizabeth to a record-setting run of performances, the Shooting Stars have grown through craftsmanship, competition, service and fellowship.
